JOHNNY DYNAMITE is a Philadelphia based post-punk artist signed to Born Losers Records. Over the course of his first three albums, Johnny Dynamite has emerged as a succinct storyteller and songwriter. The characters inside Johnny’s dream world are lucid, manic, and brimming with pangs of nostalgia. Poised against dark and atmospheric instrumentals, his harrowed vocal delivery and lyrics paint a picture of lost youth, hopeless romanticism, and teenage rebellion.
Dynamite blends many different genres and connects the dots between different pockets of subculture; equal parts glossy new wave and anthemic rock n’ roll. Johnny’s signature beat centric production style incorporates hard hitting drum machines, 80’s style guitar riffs and ethereal retro synth patches. His sound has been compared to legacy acts such as Pet Shop Boys, INXS, and The Cure as well as more modern acts such as MGMT and M83.

Schon seit Kindertagen vermischt Daniel Benyamin die verschiedensten Genres. Die melancholische Seite J.S. Bachs verehrte er genauso wie heimliche Wave-Punk Bands, die zuhause verboten waren.
Mit 12 Jahren entdeckte er zufällig auf einem defekten Kassettenrekorder das Mehrspurrecording und komponierte damit die Musik, die er nicht hören durfte. Diese kreative Bipolarität zeigt sich nie so klar wie in seinem zweiten Album als Daniel Benyamin: „Life After Music“, das der kreative Kopf von Sea + Air und Jumbo Jet im Mai 2026 auf Ghost Palace Records/Cargo veröffentlichte.
Das Album reist spielerisch von einem Pol zum anderen: opulent und reduziert zugleich, ist es ebenso eingängig wie atmosphärisch und schöpft aus seinen Tanz- und Filmsoundtracks der letzten Jahre.
Seit er mit 17 Schule und Zuhause verließ, performte Daniel Benyamin seine Kunst in über 2000 Konzerten in 35 Ländern. Hunderte veröffentlichte Songs und Kompositionen später wagte Daniel Benyamin 2022 einen Neuanfang als Solokünstler.
Sein größter Erfolg dabei ist, dass er sich völlig unverfälscht in seiner Musik widerspiegelt, losgelöst von Mainstream und Erwartungen. Zerbrechlichkeit, großes Songwriting und energievolle Rhythmen, vorgetragen von analogen Instrumenten und allem voran seiner einzigartig emotionalen Stimme, lassen einen musikalischen Kosmos wachsen, den Daniel Benyamin „Ghost Pop“ nennt.
THE KLITTENS combines their love for pop music and dark sentiments with a punk ethos. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists - such as The Ronettes, MF Doom, Dry Cleaning and Kate Bush - they've crafted a sound that's truly and twistedly their own.
What initially began as an outlet, both creatively and politically, mutated into a musical life mission for its members. Their DIY approach, from songwriting to releasing music and tour management, is what makes The Klittens the ragtag bunch of misfits they are. The band consists of Yaël Dekker (vocals), Winnie Conradi (guitar), Katja Kahana (guitar), Marrit Meinema (bass guitar), and Laurie Zantinge (drums).

Herbst in Peking, founded in 1987 as a wild mixture of sixties psychedelia and punk energy, became, with “Bakschisch-Republik”, the providers of a hymn for the collapse of the system. For many years now, they’ve been traveling with an electronic foundation and dub sounds, through which the dark voice of mastermind Rex Joswig—known from cult radio show “Grenzpunkt Null”—delivers poetic proclamations.
If underground is what bubbles beneath the surface, then Herbst in Peking is a true underground band. Their music springs from the depths of the subconscious. In their HIP sound, rock, electronic, doom, and shanty blend into a compelling melange. Als Stefan Honig die schottische Band MEURSAULT 2012 für sich entdeckte, war da zunächst einfach nur die Begeisterung für ihre Musik, die ihn nicht mehr losließ. Jahre später wurde aus diesem Fan-Sein eine Freundschaft, aus der Freundschaft eine gemeinsame EP – und schließlich eine erste Deutschland-Tour. Jetzt kommen HONIG aus Köln und MEURSAULT aus Edinburgh zum zweiten Mal gemeinsam auf Tour. Und wer die beiden Bands schon einmal zusammen erlebt hat, weiß: Das hier ist kein Abend zum Nebenbei-Hören.
HONIG und MEURSAULT machen Musik, die sich Zeit nimmt, um einen dann mit voller Wucht zu erwischen. Songs können beginnen wie ein vorsichtiges Gespräch und wenige Minuten später in einem gewaltigen Klangbild explodieren. Warme Stimmen stehen neben schroffen Gitarren, filigrane Melodien neben donnernden Drums, Intimität neben Noise. Es gibt Momente, in denen man eine Stecknadel fallen hören könnte – und andere, in denen der Sound förmlich durch den Raum drückt.
Bei HONIG trifft Stefans ehrliches, direktes Songwriting auf eine Band, die ihre Stücke nicht einfach reproduziert, sondern ihnen auf der Bühne ein neues Leben gibt. Persönliche Songs verdichten sich zu großen Momenten, ohne dabei ihre Verletzlichkeit zu verlieren.
MEURSAULT um Neil Pennycook geht noch einen Schritt weiter: Zwischen Folk, Indie, elektronischen Texturen und Alternative Rock entstehen Songs, die gleichzeitig zerbrechlich und überwältigend sein können. Mal fast nackt und unmittelbar, mal wie ein Sturm, der sich langsam zusammenbraut und schließlich alles mitreißt. Die schottische Band hat ein Gespür für genau diesen Moment, in dem Melancholie plötzlich in Euphorie kippt.
