steht umgangssprachlich für Zigare3e. Sie ist mithin ein fast niedlich klingendes Wort für eine nicht ganz ungefährliche Sache. Hier und dort wird auch ein misslauniger Gesichtsausdruck als Fluppe bezeichnet. Beide Beschreibungen passen auf die Band ziemlich gut.
fluppe sind der Stengel, der in deinem Vorgarten nichts verloren hat, der Vogelschiss auf deinem Volkswagen. fluppe sind ein Post-Punk-Quarte3 aus der Hansestadt Hamburg, das ebenfalls ein Faible für Pop und Shoegaze hat. Der ehemalige Intro Chef Daniel Koch (u.a. Musikexpress, Diffus) schreibt: „(…) musikalisch kommen einem eher diese räudig-poetschen Post-Punk-Bands wie shame, Protomartyr oder auch IDLES in den Sinn.“ Kombiniert man dies mit der für die Hamburger Schule typischen Haltung und Skepsis gegenüber den bestehenden Verhältnissen, so hat man in etwa die Koordinaten zusammen. Mehr braucht man nicht.

How to describe the sound of HOW YES NO? Are you reminded of the short, radical songs by WIRE on their debut "Pink Flag"? Or rather the more playful GANG OF FOUR? Leaving aside the old post-punk greats, one might think of the more contemporary LITHICS.
In any case, the band plays their very own playful interpretation of post-punk, also called art-punk by some. But what does that mean? If you deal with the bands mentioned above, the picture opens up very quickly.
However, HOW YES NO do not come from the UK or the USA like their references, but are a scion of the burgeoning Croatian punk scene.In addition to Croatian acts such as Neon Lies, Mizerija or Parnepar, the trio is regularly on long tours throughout Europe and is building up their fanbase nonstop and with great success.

Die Überraschung des letzten Jahres SOCKE kommen wieder nach Berlin!! Jahrzehnte nach Sluts'n gibts endlich mal wieder guten Deutsch-Punk aus Heidelberg! Rotzigem Deutsch-Punk mit leichtem Hardcore-Einschlag, aber auch mal etwas experimenteller und es kommt des öfteren ein Synthesizer zum Einsatz. Die Jungs sind wütend und mit "Friedrich Scherz (Christlich Asozial)" gibts hier die erste Deutsch-Punk-Hymne gegen den gegenwärtigen Bundeskanzler. Was willste mehr?

LSD – Liebe Statt Drogen ist eine der bekanntesten Lesebühnen Berlins. Jeden Dienstagabend gestalten die 5 Mitglieder von LSD und eingeladene Gäste im Berliner Schokoladen ein Programm aus neuen Texten und Songs. Gegründet 1996 besteht LSD heute aus den Mitgliedern Mia Pittroff, Richard Blaha, Andreas „Spider“ Krenzke, Uli Hannemann, Tobias „Tube“ Herre und Ivo Smolak. Alle 5 genannten Künstler sind als Autoren und Musiker auch in anderen Bereichen aktiv.
LSD bietet jeden 1. & 3. Dienstag ein Offenes Mikro für Menschen an, die spontan etwas vortragen wollen. Beachtet bitte, dass der Beitrag selbstverfasst sein muss und nicht länger als 6 Minuten dauert. Wer am Offenen Mikro liest, braucht keinen Eintritt zahlen und bekommt ein Freigetränk.

Ara Lil Yoon are a Maltese–British band now based in Berlin. Rooted in post-punk, their debut album Triboulet blends punk urgency with elements of gypsy music, hip-hop, grunge, and dark, minor-key disco.

The Simple Present aus Stuttgart spielen unbeschwert-lässigen Indie-Pop in reinster Form, der so nur selten hierzulande anzutreffen ist. Das Duo, bestehend aus Cat (Gesang, Gitarre) und Sabine (Gesang, Keyboard), ist inspiriert vom britischen Pop der 1980er und 90er Jahre. Im Uni-Hörsaal entdeckten sie ihre gemeinsame Begeisterung für Indie- und Twee Pop-Labels wie Elefant Records aus Madrid und Labrador aus Stockholm.
All das spiegelt sich in ihren Songs auf eine einzigartige Weise wider, ohne auch nur ansatzweise nach einer Kopie zu klingen. Live werden sie komplettiert von Flow (Gitarre, u.a. Friedrich Sunlight), Alessandro (Schlagzeug) und Guilhem (Bass, u.a. The Burning Hell). Die erste Platte, eine 12″ EP, wird 2026 freudig erwartet beim Augsburger Indie-Label Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten|KUS
Besonders freuen wir uns auf den special guest des Abends. Extra aus Wien angereist spielen die tollen Ola & Lars, die neue Band vom Ex-Superpunk Gitarristen Lars Bulnheim und Ola, die auf dem neuen Andreas Dorau Album "Wien" zu hören ist, ihr erstes Berlin Konzert.

This is Tokyo's most notable improv duo at the moment. The duo consisting of Tatsuya Yoshida, the strongest drummer in the avant-prog scene, and Risa Takeda, the keyboardist who is currently attracting the most attention in Tokyo's improv scene, will be touring Europe for the first time. An unparalleled worldview brought about by thrilling antagonism and harmony unfolding at high speed. The highly structured and highly improvised performance, which freely moves between classical, contemporary music, progressive rock, and jazz rock, overwhelms the audience with the number and sound pressure of a band, even though it is performed by two people.
Helicopter is a high-energy trio that soars at the crossroads of jazz, punk, free improvisation, and
raw sonic chaos. Featuring Peter Van Huffel (saxophones), Roland Fidezius (bass), and Simon
Camatta (drums), the band fuses Berlin’s underground fire with the dynamic creative scene of
western Germany’s NRW region.
