This collaboration emerges from a desire to amplify emerging Ecuadorian artists while weaving connections among Berlin’s migrant diasporas. It aims to foster a sense of community and preserve cultural memory through songs that carry the stories, languages, and worldviews of these territories.
 

Rooted in the lands of the South, Shumay weaves songs of life, resistance, and belonging. Accompanied by her guitar, she transforms memory, grief, and anger into collective song, creating spaces where personal and territorial struggles become shared acts of remembrance, care, and resilience.

Misa Negra (Cynthia Alexandra x Yanara Zarhi x Bethu Avendaño) Blending music, poetry, and performative ritual, Misa Negra explores how memory, spirituality, and cultural practices continue to evolve across time and place. Working at the intersection of the ceremonial and the everyday, the project creates immersive spaces where personal narratives connect with broader histories of migration, loss, and belonging.

Rather than preserving ritual as a fixed tradition, Misa Negra approaches it as a living, contemporary practice—one that can offer connection, resistance, and healing in times of uncertainty. San Pedro Bonfim is the solo project of Pedro Bonfim, an Ecuadorian artist with Brazilian roots, born in Quito. For more than a decade, he has led @lolabumdicealo in his native Ecuador, a band with which he has released five albums and established himself as one of the most distinctive and recognizable independent music projects in the country. He holds a degree in Literature from the "Universidad de las Artes" and has worked in music for more than ten years. He has released three solo albums and five with his band Lolabúm. With a multifaceted writing style, his lyrics have been one of the main driving forces behind his musical projects.

LOST LYRICS bieten seit 1990 rasanten, trashigen und harten, aber immer melodiöser Punkrock. Prägnante Singalong-Melodien mit Tempo und lauten Stromgitarren - diese musikalische Vielfalt macht die LOST LYRICS auch 2026 aus. Und das Ganze in deutscher Sprache.

Statt Parolen und den gängigen Phrasen werden jedoch klischeefreie, intelligente Texte, zum Teil mit Ironie und Augenzwinkern, geboten. Kein Deutschpunk, sondern Punkrock mit deutschen Texten, der Sozialkritik mit persönlichen Themen verbindet. LOST LYRICS verstehen sich in der Traditionslinie, die um den klassischen Krautpunk schon immer einen Bogen gemacht hat.

Alle diese Qualitäten führen dazu, dass das nordhessische Aushängeschild in Sachen guter Musik auch 2026 die Bühnen der Republik entert. Lange Konzerterfahrung und die damit verbundenen Erlebnisse, auch im angrenzenden Ausland, teilweise mit den Lieblingsbands aus Amerika und England, sind nicht das schlechteste Sammelobjekt. Kein Gig, der zweimal gespielt wird, und keine Scheibe, die zweimal aufgenommen wurde – mittlerweile zehn CD`s/LP`s, davon acht auf dem Voerder Label Hulk Räckorz (u.a. Wizo), zuletzt "Freak Preview" 2020.

Um ihren Status zu untermauern, eine feste Größe im Independent-Musikbusiness zu sein: „Nach all den Jahren immer noch ein Fels in der deutschen Punkrocklandschaft“ (Shitletter).

The Resets (Punkrock) haben sich spontan 2022 gegründet und sind seit 2023 komplett. Ska, Streetpunk oder Hardcore hatten die drei in anderen Bands schon durch, hier reduzieren sie sich auf reinen Punkrock. Pur, simpel sowie ein Bier in der Hand. Ein zwinkerndes, blaues Auge und ein Lächeln auf den Lippen – damit ab auf die Tanzfläche.

SCHALKO klingt nach schlechtem Fußball aus dem Ruhrpott oder spanischem Clown, ist aber eine Punkband aus dem kleinen abgelegenen Bergdorf Freiburg. Musikalisch eine Mischung aus nachdenklich und Schlägerei. Oder nennt es wie ihr wollt, aber bitte nicht zynisch werden.

BLEACH TV are a four-piece band from Hamburg. A musical project born out of a close friendship, the band are now making their mark as newcomers. Their English lyrics are carried by a soundscape that can be categorised somewhere between indie rock, post-punk and whatever else you might like to call it. Melodic basslines, dreamy guitars, floaty synths, and driving drums weave together to create a sound that is both raw and atmospheric. Their debut EP is in the pipeline and is already being unleashed on live audiences.

If you take a look around DOGDAZE’s bedroom studio, your eyes will immediately be drawn to faded record covers, sparkling disco balls, and analogue photos from back in the day. It’s almost unnecessary to mention that The Cure, New Order, or My Bloody Valentine are playing on a loop in the background. And yet, thankfully, this post-punk/shoegaze/whatever band can’t be reduced to the eternally annoying phrase ‘Everything was better back then’. Following their self-titled debut EP – which saw the four Berlin-based musicians immediately become Radar Act on FluxFM and play sold-out shows on the capital’s under-underground stages – the ‘Hypnosis’ EP breaks new ground. Whirling stereo guitars, uncompromising rhythms and, vocal melodies that are almost ghostly yet catchy underline the band’s love of experimentation. This is music that remains completely undeterred by the streaming algorithms of our time and prefers to look ahead into the neon light of the past.

Lauren Lakis is a Los Angeles-based songwriter whose sound sits somewhere between shoegaze, '90s alternative rock, and slow-burning grunge. Ethereal vocals, thick guitars, and a heavy low end come together in songs that are both vulnerable and powerful. Fans of Deftones, Hum, and Hole will feel right at home.

Swiss-born, Los Angeles-based Izzy Outerspace blends dreamy indie rock with shoegaze and alternative influences. Since her debut single in 2020, she has released a string of singles and the EP Lip Service, followed by Dreamstate in 2025, produced by former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder. She is currently finishing her debut full-length album, due out in fall 2026.

AKNE KID JOE sind der picklige kleine Scheißer aus der ersten Reihe und allergisch auf voll viel, v.A. auf „Summer of 69“ von Bryan Adams. Mukke zwischen dilettantischem Schrammelpunk, NDW und Classic-Rock. Textlich zwischen Kartoffelstampfer, Shitstorm und Traumabewältigung.

EA80 – wie soll man diese Band ankündigen? Nicht so leicht, da EA80 im Grunde für sich allein stehen kann, ohne weitere nähere Angaben. Und so sind sie für viele Menschen ein langjähriger Wegbegleiter unterschiedlichster Lebensphasen und gefühlt immer da. Klingt fast schon paradox, da sich EA80 viel eher entziehen. Sie sind nicht präsent in der (Sub-)Kultur-Medienlandschaft, es gibt keine Anzeigen für Neuerscheinungen, sie sind nicht auf Streamingdiensten zu finden, es gibt kein Merchandising, kein Sendungsbewusstsein. EA80 kommen nicht auf dich zu – es funktioniert eher umgekehrt.

„Alles was ich sagen will, wird durch die Musik und all das, was da drum herum ist, wie wir etwas gestalten, gesagt" so einmal Junge (Gesang+Gitarre) in einem der ganz seltenen Interviews. 

EA80 nennen es Punk und haben sich damit keiner Szene verschrieben, sondern ihre eigene eigenwillige und autonome Welt erschaffen, in der sie sich nach wie vor bewegen. Als sich in den 80ern die deutschen Punkbands mit Themen wie Polizei- und Staatsgewalt, Alkohol, Nazis und Abgrenzung befassten, sangen EA80 über eigene Gefühle, inneren Zweifeln und zwischenmenschlichen Themen und sorgten für ein Erwachen: „Ach, das geht auch?" 

So existiert die Band aus Mönchengladbach seit 1979, die ganz kurz „Panzerfaust" hieß und schließlich zu EA80 wurde und blieb und bis heute 14 Alben veröffentlicht hat. Und nach 47 Jahren spielen sie diesen Sommer zum ersten Mal im Schokoladen.
