3 Jahre Kiosque:<\/div>

Drei Jahre können eine echt lange Zeit sein. Drei Jahre sind lang, wenn man seine beste Freundin solange nicht mehr gesehen hat. Oder wenn die Lieblingsband  solange gebraucht hat, um ein neues Album aufzunehmen oder wenn man nicht in den Urlaub fahren konnte. Drei Jahre können aber auch schnell vorbeigehen, besonders wenn man viel erlebt, viel Spaß hatte und es einfach eine aufregende Zeit war. <\/p>\r\n

Für Kiosque Booking<\/strong> waren die letzten drei Jahre eher kurz und sind wie im Fluge vergangen. Gestartet als Abenteuer im Sommer 2023, ist das Booking um einige tolle Artists gewachsen, gab es viele Konzerte, Touren, Festivals und Veranstaltungen in Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz und sogar eine kleine Tour durch England war mit dabei.<\/p>\r\n

Um die letzten drei Jahre, aber auch die kommenden Jahre einmal gebührend zu feiern, gibt es im Juni eine Geburtstagsfeier im schönen Schokoladen in Berlin.<\/p>\r\n

Mit dabei sind drei Kiosque-Artists, die mit ihrem unterschiedlichem Sound die Bandbreite im Kiosque-Universum abbilden.<\/p>\r\n

Kommt gern vorbei für Sets von Ant Antic & Finna, die beide die längsten Booking-Verbindungen zu Dominique haben, die angefangen haben zusammen zu arbeiten lange lange bevor es Kiosque Booking gab. Aus diesen Arbeitsbeziehungen sind schnell Freundschaften entstanden und beide Artists bereichern Kiosque Booking immer wieder aufs Neue durch ihre Sounds, ihre Weiterentwicklungen als Künstler*innen und einfach als Menschen.<\/p>\r\n

Außerdem erwartet euch als dritter Act noch einer der frischen Kiosque-Acts - wer das ist, bleibt allerdings noch kurz ein kleines Geheimnis.<\/p>\r\n

Die Expressionisten<\/strong> sind Diego Castro (u.a. Black Heino, Mutter), Wieland Krämer (Dackelblut, Maulgruppe) am Bass und Stefan Widdess (Bikini Jesus, Mary Ocher) an den Drums. Sie nehmen mit ihrer Mischung aus Post-Punk und Jangle-Pop gewiß eine Außenseiterstellung in der deutschsprachigen Indie-Szene ein. Das neue Album „Gefangene der freien Welt“ positioniert sich trotz Anleihen an die Sixties  keineswegs in der Vergangenheit. Die Expressionisten greifen gesellschaftskritische Themen auf und sind dabei ganz in der Gegenwart. Gleichsam aktualisieren die Berliner das etwas in Vergessenheit geratene Genre des Jangle-Pops, während man ihnen zugleich eine Sozialisierung mit US-Punk anhört. Diese Mischung aus Paisley und Punk hat viel Power. Produziert wurde sie nämlich von Max Power, der zuvor z.B. für Turbostaat, Beatsteaks oder Black Lips arbeitete. „Gefangene der freien Welt“ erschien 2024 als limitierte Vinyl-Edition bei Rookie Records. Viele Clubshows und einige Festivalauftritte später sind Die Expressionisten ein bestens eingespieltes Trio. Beim Konzert im Schokoladen gibts dann auch schon eine handvoll neuer Songs.<\/p>\r\n

Gwendolin und Franky sind Grateful Cat<\/strong>, ein Songwriter-Duo aus Berlin, die vom Geist des Laurel Canyons und dem New York der Folk- und Beatszene der 60er beeinflusst sind. Indie, Retro-Powerpop und Indiefolk tauchen auf der Landkarte auf – das unbedingt berlinerische Duo ist ordentlich verliebt in klassisches Songwriting, schöne Harmonien und in mehrstimmigen Gesang.<\/p>\r\n

Vor allem aber ist Grateful Cat eine bekennende Küchenband: Songs schreiben, singen, proben, recording - alles passiert in einer kleinen Altbauküche in Kreuzberg. Ein ganzes Studio wird da ersetzt, wenn Grateful Cat Gitarre, Bass, Perkussion und mehrstimmigen Gesang aufnehmen.<\/p>\r\n

Für Gwendolin Tägert und Franky Fuzz ist das Do It Yourself eine ganz wichtige Sache: Das Ethos ist Identität. Mit Jamaican Jazz und handfesten Reggae-Grooves bringen Wood In Di Fire <\/a> bei ihren Live-Sessions die Dancehall zum Toben. Was  als Jam-Projekt von Musikern aus verschiedenen Berliner Bands begann, hat sich zur festen Formation entwickelt. Doch  der Session-Gedanke ist  immer noch lebendig: Die Bandmitglieder und Gäste bringen die verschiedensten Einflüsse aus Reggae, Jazz, Ska, Latin und Afro-Beat mit und sorgen damit immer wieder für überraschende Kicks.<\/p>\r\n

Seit das Projekt im Jahre 2000 startete, spielt Wood In Di Fire<\/a> traditionell im Berliner „Schokoladen“. Der bis heute monatlich stattfindende Reggae-Jam wurde schnell vom Geheimtipp zum etablierten Termin der Berliner Reggae-Szene.<\/p>\r\n

With Jamaican jazz and driving reggae grooves, Wood In Di Fire<\/a> set the dancehall ablaze at their live sessions. What began as a jam project by musicians from various Berlin bands has evolved into a permanent ensemble. But the session spirit remains: the band members and guests bring a diverse range of influences from reggae, jazz, ska, Latin, and Afrobeat, consistently delivering surprising and exciting moments.<\/p>\r\n

The shoegaze duo TELEPHONIST<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, consisting of producers and multi-instrumentalists Dennis Mielke and Oskar Middelhauve, got together in Dortmund in 2023. Telephonist wants to break new ground in the scene and is trying to fill a gap in the German music landscape by using German lyrics instead of English, unlike most shoegaze\/alternative rock bands.<\/p>\r\n

ROLANDO BRUNO<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After spending three years in Spain, he returned home to fully pursue his unique musical vision. His current tropical music project began in 2005, while he was still a member of the garage-punk band Los Peyotes. While Los Peyotes followed a classic rock band format, Bruno’s approach to cumbia was born in solitude, using his computer—his \"best friend\"—to craft backing tracks, humorously dubbing it his “MIDI Orchestra.”<\/p>\r\n

In 2015, Bruno expanded his sound by assembling a full band and reintroducing himself as Rolando Bruno y El Grupo Arévalo, a supergroup of underground musicians from Buenos Aires. The lineup features members of Les Mentettes, Alfonso El Pintor, Los Alamos, Los Peyotes and Pecera.<\/p>\r\n

Cumbia Trash: A Unique Sound & AestheticTheir music is rooted in cumbia, but Bruno defines it as \"cumbia trash\"—a style that blends Peruvian chicha, '80s and '90s Argentine cumbia, psychedelic rock, Afro rhythms, and other global influences. This genre is not only about the sound but also about its distinctive vintage aesthetics and visuals, which characterize the band’s unique identity. Their live shows are an electrifying guarantee of tropical dance madness!<\/p>\r\n

He has spent over 15 years shaping the independent music scene with more than 1,000 performances and numerous collaborations in Brazil. His work bridges visual art and music, creating immersive, multi-sensory experiences.<\/p>\r\n

As a visual artist with his neo-op art style, Gomma has exhibited internationally and participated in public art projects, with features in publications like Revista Bravo! and Traços. In 2023, he launched the Super Sensory Experience, a solo performance mixing live guitar and visual projections into a psychedelic fusion of sound and abstraction.<\/p>\r\n

2008 starten Tina Sanudakura und Andy Schwarz als Duo erneut, leugnen nicht die Vergangenheit, sind jedoch sofort voll und ganz im Hier und Jetzt. “Teenage Prose” by GHOSTS AND ERRORS<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> is an intense, inward-looking record whose fragile indie folk sound world oscillates between Americana influences, attention to detail, and emotional weight. It is rarely light-footed without tipping into mere melancholy. Rather, what unfolds here is an idiosyncratic cosmos that has grown over years from an originally reduced, acoustic idea by Florian Stepper into an open band project involving a total of 16 musicians.<\/p>\r\n

Fragile anti-folk meets urgent, almost manic post-punk before the songs open up again into expansive pop or chamber music moments. Instruments such as singing saw, Spanish lute, clarinet, cello, or vibraphone do not appear as effects, but as organic components of a larger narrative context. The record thrives on its ruptures and shifts in perspective.<\/p>\r\n

Live, GHOSTS AND ERRORS<\/strong> form a fixed band with Florian Stepper, Bianca Steffen, Kevin Kuhn, Felix Nagel (also co-producer of the album), and Marco “Mini” Mühlhans. The pieces are reinterpreted there—more direct, rawer, and with open space for improvisation. What makes “Teenage Prose” particularly distinctive is its resistance to quick effects. Ein fast fließender Übergang aus der Band Hush Puppies, die mit neuen Namen weitergeführt wurde. Kurz darauf folgte das erste Studioalbum, und BITUME fing an, Konzerte über Konzerte zu
spielen und war ziemlich fleißig mit weiteren Liedern und Alben. Immer in Bewegung und schnell gut vernetzt in der Deutschpunkszene. Damals auf dem Kultlabel VITAMINEPILLEN
RECORDS zuhause, ist BITUME jetzt auf ROOKIE RECORDS und dort in allerbester Gesellschaft. Ein Ende ist nicht abzusehen. Warum auch.
Zwischen damals und heute liegen unfassbar viele Kilometer, viele tolle Abende, viele lebenslange Freundschaften und viele schöne und verrückte Geschichten. San Pedro Bonfim<\/em> <\/strong>is the solo project of Pedro Bonfim, an Ecuadorian artist with Brazilian roots, born in Quito. For more than a decade, he has led @lolabumdicealo in his native Ecuador, a band with which he has released five albums and established himself as one of the most distinctive and recognizable independent music projects in the country. He holds a degree in Literature from the \"Universidad de las Artes\" and has worked in music for more than ten years. He has released three solo albums and five with his band Lolabúm. EA80<\/strong> – wie soll man diese Band ankündigen? Nicht so leicht, da EA80 im Grunde für sich allein stehen kann, ohne weitere nähere Angaben. Und so sind sie für viele Menschen ein langjähriger Wegbegleiter unterschiedlichster Lebensphasen und gefühlt immer da. Klingt fast schon paradox, da sich EA80 viel eher entziehen. Sie sind nicht präsent in der (Sub-)Kultur-Medienlandschaft, es gibt keine Anzeigen für Neuerscheinungen, sie sind nicht auf Streamingdiensten zu finden, es gibt kein Merchandising, kein Sendungsbewusstsein. EA80 kommen nicht auf dich zu – es funktioniert eher umgekehrt.<\/p>\r\n

„Alles was ich sagen will, wird durch die Musik und all das, was da drum herum ist, wie wir etwas gestalten, gesagt\"<\/em> so einmal Junge (Gesang+Gitarre) in einem der ganz seltenen Interviews. <\/p>\r\n

EA80 nennen es Punk und haben sich damit keiner Szene verschrieben, sondern ihre eigene eigenwillige und autonome Welt erschaffen, in der sie sich nach wie vor bewegen. Als sich in den 80ern die deutschen Punkbands mit Themen wie Polizei- und Staatsgewalt, Alkohol, Nazis und Abgrenzung befassten, sangen EA80 über eigene Gefühle, inneren Zweifeln und zwischenmenschlichen Themen und sorgten für ein Erwachen: „Ach, das geht auch?\" <\/p>\r\n

So existiert die Band aus Mönchengladbach seit 1979, die ganz kurz „Panzerfaust\" hieß und schließlich zu EA80 wurde und blieb und bis heute 14 Alben veröffentlicht hat. Und nach 47 Jahren spielen sie diesen Sommer zum ersten Mal im Schokoladen.<\/p>\r\n

Dies ist das dritte Konzert, in diesem Jahr, in Reihenfolge bei uns auf dem Hof. An den Tagen vorher, spielen Akne Kid Joe<\/strong> und EA80<\/strong> und zum Abschluß dieses Wochenendes, rocken TURBOSTAAT<\/strong><\/strong> den Hof mit einer Matinee-Show<\/u><\/strong>. Das heißt, dass wir früh anfangen!!!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Vor kurzem hat die Band ihr 25 Jähriges bestehen gefeiert und 2025 ist ihr letzes Album 'Alter Zorn<\/strong>'<\/strong> erschienen. Ich brauche hier garnicht soviel über die Band schreiben, IHR<\/strong><\/strong> kennt sie alle sehr gut. Sie haben auch schon so einige male im Schokoladen gespielt. Das waren immer großartige Konzerte und die Textsicherheit beim Publikum ist immer wieder beindruckend. Ihr habt euch die Messlatte, für diesmal, selber sehr hoch gelegt. Also haut rein, damit es auch am diesem Nachmittag, richtig fett wird.<\/p>\r\n

Als Gäste mit dabei sind ZHAAT<\/strong>: Das Quartett aus Leipzig entwickelt seit 2018 seinen eigenen Sound. Experimentierfreudiger Post-HC wird mit schwerem psychedelischen Stoner-Rock zu einem Klangteppich gewebt, der in seiner Farbgebung auffällt. Durch vereinzelte orientalische Melodien und Rhythmen entsteht ein mystisch hypnotischer Mix, der den schweren Gitarrenwänden eine gewisse Leichtigkeit entgegenstellt.<\/p>\r\n

Occrasy gehören zu den spannendsten neuen Namen ungefilterter Gitarrenmusik aus Schweden und sorgt derzeit mit energiegeladenen Live-Shows für Aufsehen. Geprägt von einer bewusst analogen Herangehensweise an die Musik, steht die Band für rohe Energie, explosive Auftritte und kompromisslosen Rock’n’Roll.
Im Mai erscheint ihr Debütalbum „Good To Go“, gefolgt von einer 15 Termine umfassenden Deutschlandtour im frühen Herbst.
„Hold your f****g bladders Germany, we’re good to go! The question is: are you? We’re about to hit the road for three weeks and show all y’all some lovin’“, kündigt die Band an.
Die junge Indie-Rock-Sensation aus Schweden besteht aus Sänger Alfonz Lindström, den Gitarristen Aurell Poetri und Dexter Swärd, Bassistin Elvira Lööf sowie Schlagzeuger Filip Samuelsson. Vor etwas mehr als einem Jahr steckte die Band noch in den Kinderschuhen: fünf Freunde aus der schwedischen Stadt Borlänge, die begannen, gemeinsam in einem Keller Musik zu machen, um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben.
Ihre musikalischen Einflüsse sind klar – darunter The Beatles und The Hellacopters. Eine besondere Rolle spielte außerdem ihr Musiklehrer Gustaf Norén von Mando Diao. CONCRETE VEHICLES<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> (formerly Computer) is a band from Vancouver that originated as a recording project between lifelong friends Hudson Schelesny and Ben Lock. As their recordings developed, the songs became too chaotic and nuanced to play live with a normal band which got them excited about expanding into a larger group. Fast forward a year and Concrete Vehicles is a fully formed seven piece working on transforming their songs to embrace a wider range of instrumentation including saxophone, synths, and percussion. They have played over 50 shows including an Eastern Canadian tour, a UK and Europe tour, with appearances at Sled Island, Khatsalano Festival, M For Montreal, and Left of the Dial.<\/p>\r\n

850km liegen zwischen Hamburg und Warschau, ein langer Weg, den das Duo Paula & Karol<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> auch nach fünfzehn Jahren der Zusammenarbeit, darunter vier Alben, eine EP und viele Konzerte, gerne zurücklegt, um gemeinsam an seiner herzzerreißend luftig-leichten und sonnendurchfluteten Popmusik zu feilen. Um sich herum haben die beiden eine Bandfamilie versammelt, die ihre Musik zwischen den sehr unterschiedlichen Lebenswelten von Paula in Hamburg sowie als Professorin für die Soziologie der Digitalisierung in St. Gallen und Karol als DJ, Komponist, Produzent und Konzertagent in Warschau einspielt. Die fünf sind über die Jahre Freunde fürs Leben geworden: „Even if life gets a bit strange, we’ll always be playing music“ so das Motto der Band.<\/p>\r\n

Der Albumtitel Lifestrange ist eine Wortschöpfung von Paula & Karols Bassist Jakub Czubak. Es ist sein Ausdruck dafür, wenn die Dinge im Leben mal wieder anders laufen als geplant – und er passt damit auch gut zur Gefühlslage der Band während der Entstehung des Albums. Alle Songs wurden vor Beginn der Pandemie, in einer Zeit der großen sozialen und politischen Unsicherheit in Polen und anderswo geschrieben. Die Aufnahmen mussten dann in zwei Etappen stattfinden: vor Beginn der Pandemie mit der kompletten Band im Studio, später jedes Bandmitglied allein mit dem Tontechniker Jacek Trzeszczy\u0144ski. Produziert und gemastert wurde es später in zahlreichen „Zoom Happy Hours“ von Arjen Mensinga in Utrecht gemeinsam mit Paula & Karol.<\/p>\r\n

Inspiriert von Künstlern wie den frühen Hall & Oates, Bob Dylan oder der Band Whitney aus Chicago und unter dem Eindruck der aktuellen Lage, ist das Album wohl zum eklektischsten der bisherigen Bandgeschichte geworden. Americana trifft auf Psychedelic Folk und 1970er Dad-Rock. Paula kommentiert den Sound so: „I really like the new vibe we created on this album. It's more slick, but it's still heartfelt. I feel there is a bit more coolness, less of a folky and ‘be happy’ vibe than we usually do”.<\/p>\r\n

Formidable quartet The Blood Arm<\/strong> have reunited to digitally release their 2004 debut album Bomb Romantics, available again for the first time in over twenty years on 17th July 2026. Founded in Los Angeles, 2002. Nathaniel met guitarist Zebastian Carlisle at a karaoke bar, and the two recruited Nathaniel's UCLA classmate Dyan Valdés, a classically-trained pianist, on keys. Drummer Zachary Amos, who was studying microbiology at UCLA, was the last to join. The band developed a strong reputation for their enthusiastic and immersive live performances and were named the 'Best Live Act' at the SXSW Music Conference by Entertainment Weekly in 2005. They were also christened Franz Ferdinand's \"favourite band\" after playing an after show for them in 2004, the same year they nominated for the LA Weekly Music Award for 'Best New Artist'. The band members all currently reside in Berlin where they continue to make music in various projects.<\/p>\r\n

Bomb Romantics was a self-funded collection of lo-fi songs recorded in a garage studio over one weekend, which then sold out and generated the buzz that got them noticed abroad. The album received critical acclaim from the likes of NME and DIY, as well as BBC Radio's Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq. Whilst not a traditional concept album with a single continuous narrative, Bomb Romantics captures the raw energy and early ethos of The Blood Arm, making it an extremely significant release for the band.<\/p>\r\n

Aber erstmal kurz von vorne. low key orchestra ist das neue Bandprojekt des eben genannten. Allen Indie-Folk-Connaisseuren unter uns wird seine ehemalige Band Torpus & the Art Directors ein Begriff bzw. in guter Erinnerung sein und die Freude ins Gesicht geschrieben stehen, dass nun neue Musik vor der Tür der Lieblingslieder steht.<\/p>\r\n

„maybe words“ hieß der erste von mehreren low key orchestra Songs, die dieses Jahr veröffentlicht werden und es ist schlichtweg ein wundervolles Lied. Sönke ist eine kleine Hymne für all jene gelungen, die eine ausgestreckte Hand oder ein offenes Ohr benötigen. Als hätte er sich gedacht: „Wenn ich nicht in deiner Nähe sein kann, dann bekommst du immerhin einen Refrain, der mehr Trost spendet als 1000 Umarmungen.”<\/p>\r\n

Aus jeder Zeile spricht aufrichtiges Mitgefühl. Zusammen mit dem Produzenten Helgi Helgasson hat Sönke es geschafft, einen unausweichbaren Text in warme und facettenreiche Musik zu übersetzen. Soundtechnisch schwebt das low key orchestra – vor allem hierzulande - sehr eigenständig in einer Klang- und Gefühlswelt, die von Bands wie Bright Eyes, Whitney und den Flaming Lips geprägt wurde. Im Songwriting hingegen fnden sich Parallelen zu frühen Alben von Coldplay oder Keane. Sönke sagt über sich selbst, er habe die Musik für eine lange Zeit verloren. Zu unserem Glück hat er sie – oder vielleicht auch sie ihn – wiederentdeckt. Im Oktober geht das low key orchestra zum ersten Mal in voller Bandbesetzung auf Tour.<\/p>\r\n

There is obviously lots of common ground between what the two bands do musically, yet BARRENS develop their own idiosyncratic sound on their stunning debut album Penumbra: driven by synths equally as by guitars, Penumbra is oscillating between the dark and the brighter side of post rock, but leaning more towards the dark. The album is conceptually circling around topics like change, metamorphosis and transformation, „especially movement into, through and out of shadows and back again“, guitarist Johan G Winther explains. „Being both lost in darkness, yet finding comfort there. Seeking it. Afloat in blinding light, suspended in darkness”, as it is etched into the vinyl.<\/p>\r\n

The Rock Band Thank From Leeds<\/strong> first emerged in 2016 from the scene surrounding CHUNK, their city’s notorious – and now sadly defunct – DIY space. The band spent six years honing their brand of volatile and joyously cathartic post-punk alongside a hivemind of grindcore and powerviolence bands, UK garage and bashment DJs, and most things in between, before releasing their debut full length album ‘Thoughtless Cruelty’ in 2022.

Having weathered various lineup changes, since early 2023 Thank has settled on a core quartet of Lewis Millward (guitar\/synth), Cameron Moitt (bass), Steve Myles (drums) and Freddy Vinehill-Cliffe (vocals\/guitar). This incarnation of the band released ‘I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed’ in late 2024, an acid-fried concoction of hardcore punk fury, jungle-inspired freneticism and synth pop bombast, and their first release via Big Scary Monsters.

2025 was a big year for Thank, starting with a UK co-headline tour alongside Kal Marks and ending with a run of shows opening for Mclusky and Young Knives across the UK and Germany, not to mention their busiest festival season yet, including explosive sets at 2000 Trees, Truck Festival, Manchester Punk Festival, ArcTanGent and more. Having spent the first half of 2026 laying low and working on album three, in May the band played a series of anniversary gigs, commemorating 10 years as a band. In October they will embark on their seventh tour of mainland Europe, playing in Denmark and the Netherlands for the first time ever.<\/p>\r\n

Based in Newcastle (UK), she writes with unflinching honesty — songs that sway between noisy catharsis and quiet confession, between absurd humour and deep vulnerability. Mit unfassbar viel Energie und guter Laune behandeln die AWESOME SCAMPIS in ihren Texten Themen aus dem Alltag, über Liebe und Freundschaften – aber auch ernste Themen wie Depressionen oder aktuelle politische Situationen finden ihren Weg. Alles immer mit einem gewissen Augenzwinkern und Selbstironie. Und vor allem: eingängig, ansteckend und tanzbar.
Seit ihrer Gründung 2005 absolvierte die Band unzählige Live-Shows im In- und Ausland. Dabei spielten sie auf Festival- und Clubbühnen mit Musikgrößen und als Support von Bands wie Sondaschule, Russkaja, Montreal oder Rantanplan. Aber auch internationale Acts wie Mad Caddies, Jaya the Cat oder Buster Shuffle und viele weitere unterstützten sie im Vorprogramm. Spätestens seit ihren Shows beim Eselrock (Wesel), Juicy Beats (Dortmund) oder als Dauergast auf dem Rock am Beckenrand (Wolfshagen im Harz) sind die AWESOME SCAMPIS auch Besuchern von größeren Festivals ein Begriff.

The eight-piece lineup features vocals, guitar, bass, drums, two trumpets, trombone, and keyboard. All songs are self-written, and the band's set runs for about an hour. Das neue EUROTEURO<\/strong> Album „Magic“ markiert eine musikalische Neuorientierung. Die Texte wechseln zwischen deutscher und englischer Sprache und bewegen sich thematisch durch Räume von Trauer und Trost, Zweifel und Hoffnung.<\/p>\r\n

Nach ihren bisherigen Volume-Veröffentlichungen, die als Singles-Collections fungierten, präsentiert sich „Magic“ als das erste geschlossene EUROTEURO Album. Es enstand in einem gemeinsamen Prozess unter anderem mit den Wiener Musiker*innen Alexander Kranabetter, Topsy Turvy, Katarina Maria Trenk, Soap&Skin, Farce, Voodoo Jürgens und Elise Mory.<\/p>\r\n

Hinter Mahler\/Fondermann & the beast<\/strong> stecken die zwei in der Hamburger Musikszene stark verwurzelten Stephan Mahler und Ritchy Fondermann.
Stephan Mahler war nicht nur Schlagzeuger, sondern vor allem auch Songwriter der Punk-Bands Slime (siehe den Klassiker »Schweineherbst« von 1994), Screamer und Torpedo Moskau. Er spielte zusammen mit dem legendären Jens Rachut bei Angeschissen, Kommando Sonne-nmilch und Oma Hans.
Er prägte nicht nur mit seiner Gothic Band (lange bevor es diese Bezeichnung gab) Mask For, die den heute sehr populären „Dark Wave“ vorwegnahmen, sondern kompensierte auch durch sein Industrial-Projekt Faith-Healer seine Verbundenheit zu Swans & den Einstürzenden Neubauten. In den späten 80ern kam dann Arm, mit frickeligem Punk-Core, und George & Martha, mit ihm diesmal als Sänger dieser Atonal-Rock Band, denen die Ehre zuteil wurde, von John Peel in die BBC -Studios zur Session eingeladen zu werden.
Unbestritten ist Stephan Mahler eine zentrale Figur der Hamburger Punk- und Undergroundszene von den späten 70er Jahren bis heute, zuletzt mit seiner Post-Punk-Band Belgrad.
Ritchy Fondermann, der Musikproduzent und Inhaber des Hamburger K-Klangstudios, hat nicht nur die letzten zwei Rocko Schamoni Alben, sondern auch das letzte »Bärchen und die Milchbubies«, sowie das aktuelle Album der Band Cryssis um »Die Toten Hosen«-Schlagzeuger Vom Ritchie produziert. „Life After Music“ Album Release Konzert<\/p>\r\n

Schon seit Kindertagen vermischt Daniel Benyamin die verschiedensten Genres. Die melancholische Seite J.S. Bachs verehrte er genauso wie heimliche Wave-Punk Bands, die zuhause verboten waren.
Mit 12 Jahren entdeckte er zufällig auf einem defekten Kassettenrekorder das Mehrspurrecording und komponierte damit die Musik, die er nicht hören durfte. Diese kreative Bipolarität zeigt sich nie so klar wie in seinem zweiten Album als Daniel Benyamin: „Life After Music“, das der kreative Kopf von Sea + Air und Jumbo Jet im Mai 2026 auf Ghost Palace Records\/Cargo veröffentlichte.
Das Album reist spielerisch von einem Pol zum anderen: opulent und reduziert zugleich, ist es ebenso eingängig wie atmosphärisch und schöpft aus seinen Tanz- und  Filmsoundtracks der letzten Jahre.
Seit er mit 17 Schule und Zuhause verließ, performte Daniel Benyamin seine Kunst in über 2000 Konzerten in 35 Ländern. Hunderte veröffentlichte Songs und Kompositionen später wagte Daniel Benyamin 2022 einen Neuanfang als Solokünstler.
Sein größter Erfolg dabei ist, dass er sich völlig unverfälscht in seiner Musik widerspiegelt, losgelöst von Mainstream und Erwartungen.
